Market Tour

Class day begins just before 10 am with a brief overview of the class and then it's time to take a short walk to the local market. Here you will learn about the ingredients and how to select what you will be using that day.

Cooking

The hands-on class lasts approximately 4-5 hours and includes several menu items that explore the complex flavors of the Oaxacan cuisine. Classes are in either English or Spanish.

Enjoy

The class ends with everyone enjoying the dishes they have made in a multi-course meal seated a finely set table with starched napkins, silverware, and hand-made drinking glasses.

Traditional Open Classes 

We have a class on Wed., Dec. 4th with space available!

Our open classes are designed to teach authentic and inspired  recipes from Oaxaca and Mexico using traditional ingredients. Your class is from 4-5 hours in length but it is the culmination of the many hours of prep needed to get to start time. Your class includes the tour of the market, the class, mezcal tasting,
recipes and of course, your meal. Classes can be taught in either English or Spanish but not both.

$75 USD per person

We offer classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Please contact us to reserve and/or to start a class.

6-10 participants
We can accommodate up to 10 people for families or tour group lunches or dinners. Inquire for details.

Private Classes 

1 - 2  participants
6 - 20 participants
We offer private classes for one person, couples, families, those with children over the age of 12 years, or for large groups.
